Skin guide
A calm acne guide for humid Nigerian weather
When skin is breaking out, adding more products can feel productive. Often the kinder first move is to reduce irritation and make the routine easier to follow.
Keep the basics steady
Use a gentle cleanser, a moisturiser your skin tolerates and daytime sunscreen. Introduce only one active product at a time, slowly. Heat and sweat may make you want to scrub harder, but friction can leave irritated skin feeling worse.
Notice patterns without blaming yourself
Track changes in products, hair care, stress, cycle and environment. Do not pick or squeeze. Wash pillowcases regularly and clean items that touch the face, but remember that acne is not proof that someone is dirty.
Know the line between spa and medical care
A facial can support comfort and routine, but it is not a cure. Painful, persistent, scarring or sudden acne should be assessed by a qualified dermatologist. Share prescriptions and recent reactions before any spa appointment.
